Waste management

We can:
  • Classify your waste and find suitable recovery or disposal options.
  • Apply for an Environmental Permit and provide you with the supporting documents needed: Management plans, Risk assessments, Fire prevention plans, Waste recovery plans.
  • Provide technical competence cover for your permitted site
  • Help you to cut costs :
 - We can provide Materials Management Plans under the CL:AIRE Definition of Waste: Code of Practice, so you can reuse clean excavated material without the need of a permit or exemption.      
 - We can advise you how to turn your aggregate into a product, in line with the WRAP quality protocol, meaning you don't need a permit or exemption to store it and it becomes a saleable product.                                                                  
Sampling and Analysis
We can:
  • Take samples of your material and send to a laboratory for analysis, including Contamination; WAC; LOI; Asbestos
  • Provide an explanation of analysis you already have but don't understand
  • Tell you if your soils, or other materials are truly inert
  • Take your (often 400+page) ground investigation and provide you with a simple email that tells you what you've actually got and what you can do with it.

Legal compliance

Small errors can have big consequences. We can help you:
  • Apply for a waste carriers licence.
  • Ensure you are operating with the correct permit or advise if you are exempt and register an exemption on your behalf.
  • Organise and maintain your waste duty of care paperwork; Waste Transfer Notes and Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes.
  • Found yourself in a sticky situation with the Environment Agency? No problem. We can advise you on the best first steps to take without you having to pay an extortionate fee for a solicitor.
